There’s definitely ways to squeeze in one of the two... People seem to be still convinced that signing one big free agent means losing Nylander/Marner in 2019/20?

They trade for the stars because then the team knows they own him, especially if Karlsson/Doughty makes the trade knowing he’s resigning. If not, then ur just waiting and hoping they dont resign with their current teams.

I’m just trying to put the pint across that thoses two while it would be dreams come true to see them in leafs jersey we wouldn’t be able to afford to pay everyone
