    Going to take more than that to get Trouba I think. Probably Guhle added to the package you have there currently.

    This doesnt seem like a great deal for buffalo. We have no indication that coaching/management can get whatever next years team looks like to the playoffs. So im betting that the first is at least top 10, possibly top 3. Then throwing 56 million at trouba? Its probably market, but it does not add value to the package.

    McCabe+2019 1st+2019 2nd is nowhere close to getting you Jacob Trouba take far more then that.

    That first has to be top 10 protected, or why are we doing this. Youre trading a boatload for a player that we then sign for a ton. If he isnt the player to get us over the hump, then we are better off taking our chances at drafting that player next year, a player who would be on an elc. Im not against moving assets for a very good young player, but i need results or its not worth it. Im not allowing another gm to short the sabres, not with what we have seen from botterill and housley.
