You win the Vancouver trade but lose the other two, by a long shot

You really think one year of Patches is worth that much more? That first pick is a lottery pick. Clarkson is a non factor in the Vegas, I don't know why folks are so adamant in trading LTIR which generally have no meaning. I guess the the big issue with Weber is his never ending contract. The advantage of trading him in this trade, is Canadiens get Glass and 5.8m cap space for eight years by trading Weber. Immediate playing value, Canadiens lose, but 5.8m in cap space can get you a good player.

Don’t know that it’s a lottery pick yet. More than likely is and it will help that Patcioretty trade but ya I think max is worth a good prospect and a top 25 pick.

Weber trade isn’t just cap space though, it’s also what affect it’s going to have on your teams development. It’s a long and expensive contract but as much as people don’t want to admit it his role in the room is worth more than that. That plus his alert on the ice is what makes him so valuable. Getting a good center prospect in Glass is good but I think you could easily add on a first round pick and another player coming back to Montreal for him. Just getting cap relief and a single prospect is not enough for Weber

If you think we can more than Glass you are out of your mind, asking Glass from Vegas is already alot. Weber is not even in the top 20 d-man of the league anymore.

Every team rejects, and I like the Patched for Borgstrom flip with Florida better.
