I think the sabres trade is in our favor to be honest. Basically the trade is

      O'Reilly for Flurey Guthier 2018 1st rounder (top 14) and a 2019 conditional 2nd rounder. Seems like a lot. But I mean... I'll take it. Break it down and it's 3 1sts and a conditional 2nd

Ya. I thought it was a big haul for ROR especially with the Moulson cap dump. Extra points to the author for the Lupul reference.

Well the way I see it
Flurey Probably won’t be anything more then a bottom pairing d-man, Guthier isn’t really showing any positive in the AHL struggling to score. The first round will be top 15 probably and then a possible second. While Guthier and flurey are both first round picks they definitely don’t look like they will develop into what they might have been hyped to be and don’t get me wrong they are both still very young and have time to grow but still nothing looking like the greatest picks in the world

How about: Anthony Duclair for Scott Darling (25% retained), Marcus Kruger (50% retained) & Trevor van Riemsyk?

I don’t really think Duclair is worth three players, I know they might not be the greatest players in the game but to give up three decent players for one decent player isn’t the greatest move in the world but I could see the hawks wanting to bring back some of there ex players
