I think Hoffman is a lot better than Landeskog. His value is Landeskog and probably a 3rd so I'm not sure why your giving up a 1st as well

Not that. Avs are not going to move their cost controlled captain and best defensive forward that compliments the MacKinnon Rantanen line. Its not a slight against Hoffman but that just would destroy a lot of what they have been building with this season

Hoffman is a heck of player and would work well with MacKinnons speed, but doesnt get the job done as Moving Landy would take away a huge part of the teams identity. The fits not there (and plus side not Landeskog and Duchene did not see eye to eye where all the locker room tension started
