We're getting Tavares and not even playing Tarasenko with him? Cmon.

Something wrong with having 3 great lines?
But sure IF we're down by a goal late, I'd go...
Hoff JT Tank
Schwartz Schenn zucc
Or
Zucc JT tank
Schwartz Schenn Hoff
Then you mix and match the other 6.

But goodluck to opposing coaches matching lines to start games

No it's just that Tarasenko (our best player) should play with our best center (in this scenario). They'd be unstoppable. Rather see that then him being put with a rookie (who I think will do really well, but ya never know).

I totally get that and agree. But we all know how often lines change in game, in the NHL. And this is more print him with Hoffman and gives Thomas the best chance to succeed, kinda the thought with all the lines. It's just the depth look. But the kids won't play 20min a night. So the top 6 would spend plenty of time together.
Or just swap Tank and zucc, make a speed line 3.
Either way the NHL would never allow the Blues to be this good ?
