No way Nashville gets rid of Ekholm though. Sabres would be loaded on LHD too, especially if they draft first overall, which isnt a problem if some of them are comfortable playing off hand

Nashville still has quite a few good young defenceman moving up though and I don’t think their satisfied with Johansons play this year and might be looking to shore up the center position.

On the Buffalo side I just think you need a better top four in general. Risto is to young to be handling that whole burden himself, getting an elite mature partner for him and moving Scandella down is what I think Buffalo is missing to not be as pathetic as they generally are. They have elite young skill up front but need guys who can actually play some defence

No doubt they need to get better, on Buffalo's side of this they say hell yes. I was more concerned with the NSH side of this

Lol yeah mediocre cup favorites Nashville with their President's Trophy and their average roster.
