If I'm Boston, I wouldn't do anything at all. They are good enough to win as is. Keep the extra cap space to resign all those god damn prospects coming up!

First and foremost, Boston doesn't have their 2018 first rounder.

Next, while I'd be happy to add OEL to the team, Boston's RHD depth is awful after McAvoy & Carlo. McQuaid nor Miller are 2nd pairing d-men and our top RHD prospect is an 18yr old 7th round pick whose playing in Sweden. On the flip side our top 3 defensive prospects are Zboril, Lauzon and Vaak...all of which are LHD.

Right my bad they gave it up for Nash at the deadline.
I get your point, it's true that without Carlo the right side looks vulnerable with Mcquaid and Miller behind a very young Mcavoy.
Maybe swap Carlo with Zboril and throw in a forward better than Senyshyn to make up for it i guess.
Then i wonder if Chara would be in the right spot playing behind OEL and Krug, the man still plays over 20 minutes a night in average and is still very efficient.
i'd need to make a re-do of thishappy

The other thing you have to think about is his contract. He'd have to come with an ext for Boston to give up a huge package for him. Then you have to figure in how that's going to affect you when you have to sign roughly 8 RFA's after next season.

Yeah well if you get oel for carlo you can worry a bit less about right handed dmen. After the year he had riley nash will get 3.5 million and an expanded role on some team. Boston will sign shaller instead and try jfk at third line center.
