Description
Tank and hopefully win 2019 Lottery to get Jack Hughes to replace JT.
Van trade-More can b added. Isles trade up to get a D-man. We give them a D-man and a winger and they get the best 2-way C in the draft, Veleno.
Chi trade: They get younger at C, a top 4 RHD, Greiss & Dal Colle for a chance to b better elsewhere, and Bellows. We take Murphy’s contract and Anisimov who can b a vet 3C. I didn’t want to take #8 away from Chicago because they’ll need it, but more can b added if u feel the Isles are getting robbed.
A FA Goalie can also b signed if u feel their 2 top prospect Gs won’t b ready yet.

Other 2018 Draft Trade. We trade players others teams can use more than us, and Chicago gets a #3 D-man (which they haven’t had since they dealt Hjalmarsson), a backup G they only need to keep for 2 years (and we retain on, too so he’s only 1.7M), a 3C that’s younger than Anisimov, and 2 forward prospects that are currently cheap.

That's an interesting trade, the hawks would be a very deep team, but I don't know if it's good for the cap space problems they've been having. I'd have to see it on the hawks side.

Interesting Chicago trade, I kinda like it, not having Bellows would suck though so obviously pick 12 would have to be a LW. Assuming we stay at 12 though with the Calgary pick I dont think Farabee falls to us, I have him at 9 in my rankings. We'd probably be looking at Kotkaniemi or trading down like 3-4 spots to get Kravstov or Lundestrom

      My ranks to 12 are:
Dahlin, Svech, Zad, Tka, Bouch, Boq, Wahl, Hughes, Dobson, T.Smith, Veleno, Farabee
I feel #5-8 could b interchangable, but otherwise, I see Dobson as definite #9 or 10, especially going to Edmonton if he falls to 10. From what I’ve heard about Veleno, he’ll go above Farabee as well, so that leaves me to put him at 12 (I’ve felt him as a 12 or 13 all year).

My mock drafts got the top 12 as Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina, Boqvist, Wahlstrom, Hughes, Dobson, Tkachuk, Farabee, Bouchard, Smith, Kotkaniemi so we'll definitely see what comes around draft time
