They have no space in the lineup. It’s either him or Lee or Beauvillier (which I don’t recommend because he and Barzal connect, and don’t b that guy that trades the Panarin away from the Kane).

It's doable, but with drafting 8th and probably selecting Bouchard, and probably signing Jokiharju soon, that's two RD prospects that are probably pretty close to NHL ready and no real spot for them now with Boychuk in there. It's an interesting idea for sure.

From the Islanders side, it's a lot to give up to get rid of a bad contract. I don't know how worth it it is for either team.

I can't see where this trade helps NYI... If they are keeping JT they will be in a WIN-MODE for the next 4-5years and acquiring Anisimov & Murphy won't be good IMO.
