That caps trade is really bad for the caps. It would be closer if they had an extension in place for Skinner, but it’s just not worth it for the caps at all.

It’s not bad when you realize they take away all of Orpiks contract and give them skinner for $2,862,500. It gives them room to sign Carlson and other little stuff if they need to

If they did hall for Larson then I’m sure a d, just like Larson but better, plus a goalie instead of TALBOT, a high 2nd round pick, a mid second round pick, a third, a RHD prospect, and a pretty good centre prospect is good enough for this trade, especially since Puljujärvi hasn’t proved anything yet and this adresses both teams needs
