I think it would have to be Dermott over Carrick - Klingberg's contract is insane for what he is Or Change Faska to Pitlick.

IF anything close to this happens. The East should be scared. - Although Spezza is useless now. I'd put him on the fourth and move up Kapanen and Brown

So you don't see virtually equal value in Willie/Gardiner for Faska/Klingberg, let alone taking back Spezza? Willie would automatically become a top 6 center with Dallas!

Maybe I am not giving Gardiner & Nylander enough credit because they weren't great against the Bruins and that's the last impression I have of them. I look at Faska as similar to Kadri, but not as good (yet). It took Kadri a bit longer than expected to breakout, and I could see the same for Faska, or he could stay a perennial 3rd line center.

Spezza only has one year left, so it's not a huge benefit to Dallas and I can't think of a better contract than Klingberg. 4 years left @4.25m for a Norris calibur Dman is nuts.
