Description
I think this is entirely possible and realistic. Adds a strong piece up front and on D. I don't believe Ullmark will play the starting role just yet, so Hutton provides a good balance. O'Reilly stays (I guess that means no 5 star rating). Works well with the cap situation going forward and keeps the roster under 23 players. Overall, strong top 6 with room to add once key contracts expire in the coming years. -- RFA offers are all based on Qualifying Offer calculations (with the exception of Reinhart/Wilson) --

If that Hamilton deal gets pulled off, then you instantly have one of the filthiest D cores in the league. One that can MAYBE just maybe get you in the playoffs

If Beaulieu and a 4th could get you Anisimov then MTL would have done that deal before the expansion draft. But they got a 3rd round pick for him and he played even worst this year, your looking at maybe a 4th rounder in return

5 stars for not trading O'Reilly. That D core would be deadly

I don't see how Calgary takes that deal though, Mike Smith did well for them and Hamilton is an elite defender. So Lehner has no value, I like McCabe but I'm not going to call him elite and Nylander is not worth a 1st and 2 2nds (that Hamilton was originally acquired for, a fleecing at the time and he has only increased value)
