Description
Suomela is 24 years old, had 60pts in Liiga this year and 45 the year before that. Could see multiple teams targeting him, not just the Leafs, who I used.

Leafs have probably got their European slotted to play centre next year. It's Aaltonen who played for the Marlies this year. His play got. better was the year went on. Plus the Leafs have been rumoured to sign centre. Lindholm from the SHL. But having another as you suggest might help lots of NHL teams.

Yeah, I know Leafs probably aren't the front runners for him(assuming he even comes to NA, he's got 1 year left on his Liiga deal), but just chose the Leafs as they're one of the teams I could see taking a shot at him, even if not the biggest.

Having a guy coming from Europe seems like good business for NHL teams. If teams even want to bury guys in the AHL for 925,000 for a year to acclimate to the North American and they think in the future they are going to get a five year NHLer, it's a great signing Thanks for your insight on Suomela , we'll keep an eye on him.
