Description
Trade Montoya to a team that needs a half decent backup (we've got too many NHL goalies)

Swap Sekera for Hanzal. Both are bad contracts, and both might want a fresh start somewhere else. (Sekera would have to waive his NMC, but might considering he'd be giving up lots of ice time to klefbom and nurse) Price for Hanzal should be low considering his horrendous season (10 points in half a season). Dallas has too many 3rd line centres and Edmonton has too many LHD.

Trade Strome for Ceci, both have struggled recently. Give Ceci a 1 year "show me" deal so he's still an RFA after. Let Benning, Ceci, and Russel fight it out for the second pairing spot.

    Agreed, he was injured last year, everyone does this, one bad season on the oilers and that player needs to be shipped out of town. Sekera is still a very good 2 way Dman with offensive upside.

    Not saying he isn't a decent top 4 defenseman. But 5.5 is a little much isn't it? And he'd be pushed too far down our lineup with klefbom and nurse. Should I make dallas give up a higher draft pick?
