      All the trades are fine except the Canes one, they are getting robbed blind!

      Pacioretty is the 10th best NHL scorer in the last 5 years including his last bad season...contrary to several here, I think he still have very good value for a complete two way top 6 forward.
      Petry had a 42 points season, his career best and Canes are looking for a good top 4 right handed defensement who can carry the puck and can also give a very good help on the PP.
      I think both teams obtain what they look for...what do u think should be added?

      Yes he is top ten in scoring in the past 5 years but those years were his prime years and are probably behind him. He will be 31 when his deal is done and will want probably a 5 year 6-7M contract, too much. Petry is a decent defensemen that had one good year, he will be 31 just after the year starts. I don’t see the benefit of trading away 2 young promising players for 2 that are leaving their prime years.
