Description
The hawks need to capture some draft picks to make up for the prospects and picks they lost. Trading Shaw could be acceptable because of his imminent pay raise and Ryan Hartman could easily replace him. Getting rid of the unwanted cap space also gives room to sign gagner and schenn, who are still young and could start fresh with the hawks. Also, there is enough cap room to possibly resign ladd and weise, depending on how much they are willing to sign for
