Description

There has recently been talked in Detroit about the following,
-Mike Green is in contract talks and has been offered a 1 and 2 year deal but haven't come to terms on salary
-Anthony Mantha is working on a bridge deal
-Detroit is open to listening to deals for 6OA pick.

There has been a few mock drafts with Brady Tkachuk falling outside of the top 5, This is my justification for the NYI trade. New York would get a good winger to convince Tavares to stay and a name to fill seats in new arena.

I'm going to assume Edmonton will take the best available defensman at 10 (Noah Dobson for the purpose of showing the pick being used) and many AGM show Xavier Ouellet being traded anyways. Edmonton gets a top 6 Dman for next year Detroit gets a good young defensive Prospect.

I think this might work if you added in the other 2nd rounder as well or AA maybe. This is a pretty deep draft and if the Islanders are going to give up 11 & 12 to move up to 6, they are going to need more. They arent giving that up to move up from 11 to 6 and also move back from 12 to 34-5. Need more compensation.

Wings say no...not trading out of top ten w/o an elite d coming back ...wings stand pat & won't do either deal...neither make sense if you're trying to be real
