Why are you trading Wennberg for ROR? We already have a number one center in PLD and Wennberg would be a great second line center, plus there’s better options in FA to sign over ROR, like Paul Stansy(I know that’s names spelled wrong). ROR wants to win but he’s never won.... Colorado loafed when he was there and Buffalo has lost when he’s there..... he’s desperate to win on the other hand I feel like we’ll have to add to that package.... probably a pick in this years draft, likely a first. Also Whennberg had a down year last year stay committed to him and hopefully he’ll have. A better year this year.

I get where you're coming from. My thought is that Panarin wants to see talent around him before he signs an extension. ROR is a step up from Wennberg (who didn't gel with Panarin last year). And there's nothing wrong with having two #1 centers. Stastny is an interesting thought, but he'll probably get overpaid by someone. I hope Wennberg bounces back next year though, I think he has lots of potential, just needs to find that next level.
