Strong 'no thanks' to trading Parsons at this stage.

Like Lomberg getting a chance on that 4th line. He looked like a useful energy guy in his sample of games last year.

+ CGY really should add a proven backup this summer. Bernier, Ward, Hutton are all good options that provide more stability than Gillies for this upcoming season. After that, Gillies probably deserves a shot.

Figured I'd have to throw in something a little more to get that 2nd pick from Ottawa.

I'd agree about the goaltending situation, really would prefer a more clear emerging #1 in our system, but we definitely need some more experience incase Smith gets injured again. Rittich and Gillies performed well enough for young guys but it definitely contributed to our downfall last year. This roster was really just to see how much cap space we'd have if we just filled spots from within; it's a decent amount.
