You're a bit better but a few things:
DSP - He declined a 715K RFA tender (so a little different than what I said previously) but I think tries to push a sucker for 2-2.5 mill. Overpaid but thats what free agency is here for!
Mathews - Whatever you give JT, figure Mathews to make the same. I'd be surprised if his number is under 11.
Nylander - He has to go with a JT signing. The Marleau deal is crippling by a year where if they didn't have him, they'd be in much better shape.
Tanev - The Leafs would be better off using Nylander as a trade chip to go get a D man.

Please stop. You know for the 1stday of the season you have to count Horton's contract before you can put him on LTIR. SO YOU WOULD NEED TO CLEAR 5.3 MILLION WITH PLAYERS IN THE MINORS. Good Luck

I put Matthews less than Tavares for a couple reasons, first was under the assumption Tavares would be named captain of the team. So I don't know if I see Matthews making more than him because of that, and also RFA vs UFA. Matthews would still be making 500k more than Eichel too.

As for the Nylander point, why does he need to be dealt? I have a hard time seeing Brown and whatever defensemen Nylander fetches, be better than Nylander and Tanev. Obviously this Leafs team would kill people by possession and a high end offense. Embrace that. Tanev would bring a defensive presence to the blueline.

I'm not going to profess to knowing 100% how his contract works, because I don't. But if it is that big of a deal I'm confident the Leafs could pay to move it. Especially if a team is trying to reach the floor with the cap continuing to climb.

$9,000 under the cap, lol.

You make one call up and you are over the cap before the guy gets off the bus. You also underpaid Matthews
