Description

VAN trades for Brouwer and receive a real good LHD prospect in Kylington as compensation. Brouwer continues the trend of adding grit to the young Canucks lineup. He is from the Vancouver area and will be very motivated to have a good season. Kylington can run a good powerplay and has been putting up solid numbers in the AHL since he was 18 years old.

CGY needs the cap space and uses their surplus of good defence prospects to their advantage.

Flames will actually be OK cap wise it looks like. Doubt they give up Kylington just to move Brouwer. If they did need the space they'd be better off keeping Kylington and just buying Brouwer out.
