This team gives us all around depth. Especially with the shockingly cheap Duclair gamble. If you wanna call it a gamble for the price. Bringing Nash would give us someone who could possibly fill a second line hole until someone steps up a proves they can fill it out. Also gives him a nice farewell tour with the jackets. Then doing the Dubinsky swap helps Dallas in a few ways, 1st they can have more cap to try and make a Karlsson deal happen. They would also be able to have another cheap addition to their roster in Milano who i think needs a change of scenery. Maybe even burying methot could happen and bring Gabriel Carlsson up if he is ready. Then prepare for Panarin, Bobrobsky and all the other big signings by letting some guys walk. Freeing up around 15 million in cap too spread the money out. Then hopefully either Gavrikov or Carlsson can take Savard out and we can try and move his contract along with Foligno the following season too make room for Dubois and others to be signed and start building that contender we should be after all of the overseas and collegiate players start mixing into the lineup.
