welp, beside the fact that trading a salary dump (ryan) for a salary dump (ladd who has a full ntc and in this scenario would be accepting a trade to a team just about to start a full blown rebuild) is not anything at all what OTT, who is desperately trying to cut payroll and stock picks, wants; or that Trading lee, probably the best net front scorer in the NHL since Nic Andrechuck, is moronic; or that dal colle isn't worth a bag of pucks. besides all that, if that 7th round pick doesn't turn to 3rd round pick unless the isles re-sign duchene before the draft, why wouldn't the isles just tell Duchene after they agree on terms, dont sign until after the draft?
