LOL that package does not get you Faulk and Skinner. Damn leaf fans always thinking they wrap a pile of crap together and give it up for top end players

kadri is the only valuable player,
- Zatisev contract is looking bad so why is that an asset
- Sparks is an overrated prospect that the leafs love to value

I don't understand why Sparks gets so much crap. The guy is 24 so still fairly young and was the best goalie in the AHL last year and won a championship. Meanwhile Thatcher Demko is the second coming of Cory Schneider, despite him being completely outplayed by Sparks all season long and specifically in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I'm not defeding this trade by the way, its a disaster.

If I'm the GM of Toronto, I'd immediately say I'm not interested when someone mentions Kadri, why? Because the Leafs have the best centre depth in the league and trading that away for a scoring winger (the leafs have loads of those) and an overrated defenceman (He's a fine player but he's a right handed Jake Gardiner and no one would give his sort of package for him) doesn't make any sense. I suppose if you got both for Kadri that would be something you couldn't pass up but no one in their right mind would offer that.

So I say no to the trade and say anything involving Nylander, Kadri or Liljegren is almost impossible to happen because TO would be asking for a slam dunk offer to even consider making the move. Salary Cap concerns can be fixed without making drastic moves.

Kadri could do a better job at a number one center than any other joke in your organization. Leaf fans maybe a touch delusional on value, but at least we aren't pathetic. Montreal is almost as bad as Ottawa. We'll make sure to make the Stanley Cup parade go through downtown Montreal.

just because he could be a 1C on a team with no 1 or 2c, doesn't mean he has high value. Especially a team like the huricanes who probably don't even want Kadri...or Zaitsev. Booking the parade before the season even starts? yepp sounds like a leafs fan to me.
