So NjD trade is really quite lopsided Sami > either winger, so you are getting 4 high draft picks for 1 winger. NJD would be better off saving draft picks and signing those players next year

Lee is a 40 goal scorer. Eberle is good for 20-30 goals. Lee is way better. Eberle is = 2 Sami.

Kovar: 286 points in 285 KHL Games. Equivalent to 60 point player.
Komarov: 2016 All Star. Played on Toronto's 3rd Line.
Kuhnhackl: 2x Stanley Cup Champion. Not as good as last two bc he only played 69 games last season w/ Pittsburgh, but still good experience.
4th Line was often referred to as best 4th line in NHL.

Kovar is great player but that equivalent is so off the reality. Gusev who is superstar and hugely above ppg is equivalent to 60pt player. Does that mean Shipachyov was going to be 70pt player? Nope.. we dont know if he translates well. I hope he does but I have my concerns. Same concerns I had with Vadim. But we will see. Im not sure he translates. He has skill but lacks much needed speed. You know.. not everybody pans out and he is not answer definitely.. I hope Im wrong since as a Leafs fan I hope Isles do well but I have concerns about him. We will see. He is win or bust. Likely bust in my eyes sadly.. his numbers were inflated by playing with Mozyakin who is legend in KHL who was almost 2pts per game with Malkin in 12/13, and best defender in europe for past few years in Chris Lee and Danis Zaripov and I might easily continue. This past season he had Lee and Zaripov out and he posted 35 points in 54 games. Its good move for him but dont expect much..

Komarov was all-star because they had players like PA Parenteau, Brad Boyes who were playing for leafs.. they finished 30th.. there wasnt anybody better than him then and he was mediocre. Great hardworking guy for sure but in my eyes he is washed up. He played top-6 minutes sometimes this past season and still had 19 pts.. and he played with Kadri or better. I dont see him being more than 4th liner (wasnt needed for Leafs at the end of the season)

Kuhnhackl wasnt regular on Pens for a long time and he was playing on 4th line bc he is a 4th liner and nothing else. I dont know what do you expect from him but he will get you 20pts at max and it would be a miracle. He posted same numbers as overager in OHL as Matt Martin in his draft year.. yes he is SC champion, but you look at the role he played. Not that important and he played just half of the games. I dont know what you expect from him but he would be worse in points than any part of the 4th line even Matt Martin (which i agree is probably the best in NHL and I said it many times)..

Dont expect much. You will be sad.
