Description
A long term cheaper version of Trouba that is young, with lots of upside. Just makes sense to me.

This is a hard trade for me because the value of a reliable RHD that can play in your top four and put of points is really high. That being said I think Trouba's value is higher, but not by much due to how much cheaper Severson is. The big risk here is Trouba staying.

I will answer these questions together. So the main importance of these moves is long term stability for the Jets. The point of the Gardiner trade is to free up 1,500,000 million this year, it also moves a players from there very flush right side and adds to their weaker left. Gardiner also adds a perfect offensive punch from the back end, which I think they are missing back there.

That being said the huge point of this is the fact that Severson is 23, is tied up for the next 5 years at just over 4 million. That is so important to this team right now because as it looks, they're losing Trouba no matter what.
