2 former Blackhawks prospects (busts) a 3rd round pick swap and a 6th and a 4th for Faulk? Let me just pass for the Canes.

What did Tanner Kero not do to make him a bust? If anything, he never was utilized in the proper way by queneville, IMO. He was personally told it was a numbers game as to his lack of PT, not his actual game, according his uncle who is a good friend of mine. I honestly thought he could have stepped into Kruger’s vacated slot as 4LC last year. He was given a few games, then was healthy scratched for several weeks before going back to Rockford. I wish Kero and his family all of the best moving forward, and I, for one at least, will miss him.

I really didn’t want to explain the whole situation, so I just put bust to show other people reading that there is not a lot of value in him+Motte. I did not mean to offend.

No, that’s fine. To me, a “bust” would be a first rounder who never played in the NHL. Kero was signed as a free agent, then earned a 2year, one way contract only to be given away. At $750K hit for a team always in need of bargains, he was a good fit for the Hawks. It makes much more sense to have AND play a guy like him than to re-acquire Kruger at 4x the hit. But...
