As a Sens fan , I wouldn't mind that return honestly. We need Quality coming back and i feel like Nylander would be sick w Duchene or even could be the Center to replace Brassard in the top 6 . Also i really liked Sandin going into the draft and was hoping they would pick him at 26 when they traded down. I think that some Sens fans won't think this is enough, but if he we absolutely have to trade Karl, I wouldn't mind this return. Maybe a conditional pick coming OTT's way, where if Karl sign's w leafs then sens get a pick.

Is not conceivable to me that the Leafs would trade a guaranteed five years of Nylander and a first rounder of a one year rental. (But that 's just me). Are the Leafs that much better this year having Karlsson and Ennis play instead of Nylander and Carrick or Ozhignakov?

Trust me, Melnyk is not going to take a long-term $8m contract in a trade involving Karlsson, even if the value is more than fair.

I would never have imagined the Senators and Habs could fall so far so fast. I would try to come up with detailed proposals, but you never know what they're going to do next.

I can't wait to see the spontaneous street parties when Melnyk's bankers repossess the Senators.

Montreal won't celebrate Bergevin being fired though, because he's they all wish they were him being the handsomest French-Canadian GM in the league
