No thank you... sorry but you do not know what we need. Looking for a stay at home guy, if anything.

We have a ton of offensivley minded prospects. Need a guy more like pesce or spurgeon.

Interesting for COL, but I don't think they consider it as Barrie:
- fills an important role
- is playing well
- has a fair contract that isn't expiring
- no personality issues
- no replacement available in their system

Trades are costly for GMs, they only turn to them when looking for a way out. Sakic would be happy to watch his young team grow as-is. Try again if COL stumbles, or if they fail to get past a certain obstacle for 2-3 years

Toronto needs anyone who plays RHD if hainsey is their first choice... having said that I'd much rather have barrie than nylander so I'm glad sakic wouldn't entertain this trade
