That Montreal trade is awful for Montreal. When Barberio was here, he could barely crack the top 6 (healthy scratch most nights) while Reilly is among our top 4 and has been our best defense men every night since game 1

wtf would we trade a guy we gave something up to get for a guy we waived?

i've known Mark for Years , he was here all 4 years of Junior and the only guy outside Corey Crawford to be actively involved in the community constantly that being said he's not a guy you trade for , he's a guy you sign or waive at the NHL level . his leadership skills mean he'll always have a job , without them he never would have made it as far as MTL or COL

yupp , first game i believe was 23 minutes on ice as top pair D (Benn was playing there but was demoted after Reilly showed up )
in his first 7 games he had 9 hits , 5 assists and a +5 playing starting less then 48 hours after being traded as our top LD .


he's a guy who's gonna shine setting up Weber when he returns
expect 30 + points with a lot coming on the PP once he starts feeding the league's 2nd hardest Slapshot and a guy who lead all NHL players in PP production over a month after he was our on IR

Looks more like a wish list of 'my favourite players and some I've heard might be good' with no thought to structure or whether the trades are fair.
