Description
Since Dzingel could likely walk after the year. This trade gives them a versatile young RFA, and a depth D that can can help the bot 4

We get that all important CAP SPACE
And I just think Steen Bozak Dzingel would make a solid 3rd line. He adds some scoring that line could lack

Don't really think the value is there for Ottawa. Barbashev isn't a terrible piece, but he's kind of getting into that stage where he's on the older side of what can be considered a prospect. Gunnarsson is straight up bad imo, and our D has enough bad in it already.

Gunn is better then anyone you can put out on the 3rd pair, and doesn't hurt cap wise. Barbashev is a solid 2way player that would still be on your team next year, unlike Dzingel. He's only 22. Maybe someone else would over pay at the deadline, but it seems fair imo

A cash dump in gunnarsson. Would barely make Ottawa D and that’s saying something. Sens wouldn’t resign him either so no value in that. And barbashev isn’t good enough for dzingel. Expect to give up something of actual value considering dzingel’s one year at such a low cap hit. Will likely bring in big at trade deadline

Good so u read my comment right above u. Team control is more valuable then a guy that could walk. Barbashev is good and only 22. Gunnarsson is to dump cap, that's the whole point for us to make this trade. Obviously Ott could be in talks too resign him, but if they're not it's a smart move. And I wouldn't trade anyone besides barbashev (Fabbri, Blais) to get Dzingel

And because I have to, "you know nothing Jon snow"

And I guess you didn’t read mine. Barbashev wouldn’t get you dzingel. Ottawa will have no problem trading dzingel at the deadline this year and they can easily bring in way better prospects than barbashev and even a 1st rounder. And if you’re putting gun in the trade for a cap dump, expect to throw in even more.
