an old bad contract who barely has positive value

no its not. trading Price would set the franchise back by a decade. Yeah he's having some bad games, but look at his numbers before that. The guy still is, and remains to be, the best goaltender in the world. trading him would set the fracnhise back by a decade. any trading involving the better player in a package is a loss.
