Description
Well, The Canadiens are maybe not rebuilding. If Marc Bergevin decides to go all out on the rebuild, here are some options that would maybe be good. First of all, the Montreal Canadiens lack scoring punch and a left-handed defensman. Brock Nelson could be a good option to replace Phillip Danault and vice-versa, since Phillip Danault takes a lot of minutes for the Canadiens and is good at faceoffs. However, Brock Nelson has the ability to score goals, and while he is not as good in faceoffs, he can still pack an offensive punch and be a good complement to Tomas Tatar and Brendan Gallagher. Nick Leddy would be a good partner for Shea Weber, and while his departure would be devastating, he can still help the Islanders get a significant return for their rebuild. Cayden Primeau has the potential of a franchise goaltender, something the Islanders desperately need. Montreal already has their franchise goaltender. Plus, Charles Hudon, a first round pick and a second to help sweeten the deal. I added a deal that sent Jordie Benn back with his brother.

the canadiens dont lack scoring punch. they're 11th in the league in scoring despite the fact that the pp is garbage and they dont have chucky or pac. defense is an issue. thye need a top lhd. id rather draft one then trade a bunch of futures for a quick fix. on top of that KK hasnt reached his potential, and we still have suzuki, poehling, brook and possible fluery waiting to jump in to the roster. those guys can help increase scoring as well. on top of that we have ylonen who is a risky pick but has immense potential, developing in finland. they need a legit LHD
