It'll probably take a 1st to move Callahan's contract, Besides Callhan isn't leaving a potential cup contender in Tampa. For a Non-playoff team in Arizona any ways.

You can judge based on these what it will take to get rid of Callahan. Mason took Armia and a fourth. It took a third to move Hossa. It took a low second to move Laich. The Tampa equivalent of Arimia and a fourth is Erne and a fourth. The Laich deal is probably the closest in comparison. I think Tampa would be better off dumping Callahan at the draft to a team that wanted to move up. They might be able to swing a deal like Callahan and a second for a fourth or fifth. And at that point, Callahan is a one year dump and still a high end fourth line player.
