Quick to Colorado Thoughts

Quick has been very good not his previous great, for like 5 years, he has been plagued with injuries and is now a 32 y.o goalie with an .899 sv% and 5 years left on his deal, But I mean it’s Jonathan Quick do he HAS to still hold some value, but certainly not this much

He is a huge game goalie. The whole Kings team has been bad, so don’t worry about those stats. Injuries are a valid concern and I certainly asked for way too much. Big question is: Does Makar and a 1st get us Quick.

Personally I’m big on the youth movement in the NHL and anyone over 30 with signs of regression scares me, but considering he doesn’t have a huge caphit for a starter and he has that valuable name I’d say just Makar is close in value though personally I still wouldn’t do it, but If a bidding war broke out there is no telling what they would end up getting for him

Kings fans better get over "the past". Quick isn't on the ice much and isn't that good when he's on it. Not saying it's his fault but a buildup of injuries. Kopitar might be a 10m anchor in the future, and next year the start of a 8 year contract for Doughty.
I don't think you can give Quick away at this point. Lots of better value out there even in free agency this summer.

This trade value is completely off. Two top 5 picks, another first round draft pick and a decent goalie for Quick is not happening.

If your trading Quick I think you're looking at a half decent first round pick and a prospect, that would be about it.
