this would be great-- but you'll have to switch Hayes and Zucc in these deals, and maybe remove the condition. Hayes+Claesson for Vesalainen + 2nd still may be a bit of an overreach.

I think the swap of players would work. Unfortunately it seems like WPG doesn't want to trade Vesa, but it looks fair in value.

yeah the only other thing is you can only retain on 2 players at a time, so don't retain on namestnikov (save us a retention spot until we ultimately retain on shattenkirk or lundqvist)

I don't know if anyone agrees with me but i think Shattenkirk should be kept. My reasoning: he has had injury troubles these past 2 years, we have not been a good scoring team in general, from watching him play I think he is a better defender than everyone makes him out to be, and if we keep him and he bounces back next year we could either trade him with 2 years remaining on his contract for a decent haul, or keep him as a good veteran defense man that could help the younger guys who will be just starting to crack the lineup.
