Description

Wanted to see what it'd look like and if there'd be any opinions. Certainly other moves I'd like to make, like bolstering the D for a playoff run, but it may not be in the cards given the assets we're working with. Overall, with our team being 4th in goals allowed, Nill will probably just focus on adding a scorer. Given his track record with paying for assets, I could see him making one large move like this, but don't expect much more. Pressure is on to make the playoffs, trades don't guarantee anything, but inconsistency tells me he'll make at least one additional move to the Cogliano trade to support the offense. Thoughts?

I don't see why the Rangers say yes to this. Nichushkin has 7 points this year, with no goals, and only 23 career goals in 203 games, Hansson is 23 and still playing in Texas, which is sad because if you take one glance at the Stars blue-line, it isn't good, so he'll most likely never be an NHLer. Kreider on the other hand has 37 points in 48 games, and has been a solid 40-50 point guy his entire career. This trade makes no sense for New York
