while I agree with you that it is a very light return, Cole is absolutely a top-4 player. Would love to keep him, but he is due for a hell of a raise. And I have seen Chiarelli botch trades one too many times to assume that this wouldnt atleast tickle his mustache.

EDM doesn't need a LHD. Sekera will be back and they already have Nurse and Klefbom.

No way in hell does Hagelin bring in a higher pick than McKegg. McKegg has out performed Hags and has a 3,35 million cheaper contract.
