Description

I will say that I don't expect this to happen. But I think that the value is equitable. Vatanen is number 3 defender on pretty much any good team, including the islanders. Ritchie is a top 6 forward prospect, Megna is a solid 5th defender on a team that will give him a chance, he looked good in his stint in Anaheim this season playing next to horrible defender Bieksa. The 1st should push it over the top to get someone of Tavares' talent.

Not even close to a fair deal - but JT won't be traded anyway

If for whatever reason the isles know JT will not resign with them and they would rather trade him to get something of value, this would be pretty decent. As I said though, that's a lot of IF's.

As it is right now, the way JT is playing, the Isles won't move him and will risk losing him in the off season IF he decides to leave.

Come on now Josh, don't get defensive and react too quickly. That is a fair offer for a pending UFA who maybe, just maybe might not sign with either club by the end of it....

Way to much for a pending ufa I say vatanen and a 1st is more than enough. But it would be a conditional pick. If ducks make it to the SCF it’s a first anything else is a second. I wouldn’t even megna. I may offer Ritchie if there’s hesitation but would rather hold onto him

Not happening and we cannot afford him. I have no doubt that JT will remain an Isle. We had the same drama with Stamkos and look what happened.
