I would be fine with that trade. I'd rather have just 1 1st rounder(any team) for gudbranson but this is fair IMO

IT will take more to get Gundbranson


He is UFA after this season. I cannot imagine VAN getting more than 1st RD or 2nd RD + NHLer

Is this guy really that much better than Carrick? Isn't he just a larger version of Polak?

To be honest I haven't seen him play recently, I will have close look at VAN vs TOR game but he is larger and more physical than Carrick.
Younger and faster than Polak.

I hope he'd be more physical than both Carrick and Polak. He was high 1st RD 3rd pick by Florida in 2010.

I think LEAFS D need stay-home physical presence more than puck moving or offensive Dman.

He seems to be perfect fit.
