Coming from a Leafs fan the Jets biggest issue is between the pipes, gonna have to address that before they have any chance. Mason obviously was not the answer but id try to flip him, a decent pick(s) and a prospect(s) to VGK for MAF. When healthy he could help the Jets make a big run, a lot of offensive talent on the Jets.

Hellebuyck has been great. He has a .927% 2.31 AVG.

Why acquire a RHD when you have probably the best RHD group in the NHL in Buff, Trouba and Myers?

Detroit definitely takes that, But i agree that the last thing the Jets need is another RHD.

That's a hard pass from the Jets. We shouldn't be trading our 2018 1st for any rental not named Tavares. Especially not Green and especially not when you stack a 2nd round pick on top of that 1st and especially not when (in your opinion) the trade would push our current top pair LHD completely out of the lineup and especially not when it means Green is going to have to play on his off hand.
