Description

Saw a discussion of Petrovic to the Leafs on HFBoards and Panthers fans said they would want a winger in return. Sosh was a guy they said would be a good fit.

On top of him we add a backup that they need and a pick for a bit more flavour.

Carrick trade can be to any team, but it's only for roster reasons. I'd much rather trade Polak but I'm not sure Leafs management would be interested in that.

If Petrovic is an improvement on Carrick or Polak, I'm all for it.
Maybe the Panthers would want Carrick as replacement for Petrovic, Leafs add Soshnikov as you suggest, and maybe they take Pickard too replace the injured Loungo. I think McElhinney is still needed this year as a Leaf.

I see ML adding these type of D-man before TDL for sure.

I was looking at Gudbranson from VAN, Petrovic is similar.

Polak looks too slow, Carrick cannot handle oppositions in front of net and ML has a lot of puck-moving D-man.

How about L.Schenn from Arizona?

I'm in agreeance with you that we'll go after a bottom pair piece. Top 4 guys prices are too high, and our defense could be stabilized by any of the guys we have listed.
