Aye the band is back together in the western conference now! Nevermind. I forgot all the Subbans were already in the western conference. Hey the band is back together in the States!

He’s a good 22 year old D prospect. Why is Vancouver trading him for a healthy scratch?

Horvat is out at least 6 weeks with an fractured ankle. Canucks needed an NHL centre now.

To be honest though, Horvat being injured might be a good thing. Think draft lottery.

This is spot on. If Vancouver gets a top prospect in this year's draft, they're probably set with their prospect pool. Dahlin would be nice, but even if they get someone like Boqvist, Tkachuk or Veleno, it's still a very good looking future.

Ya I agree but I feel that they will get good players from the draft. I don't see them making a big blockbuster for Tkachuk or another big player like him.

Brady Tkachuk is in the draft this year?

Then if this is a fair deal, can I trade you Alexander Burmistrov for Thomas Chabot? It fills a big need because Ottawa is struggling mightily right now.

I will admit that Jordan Subban has gotten to be a little overrated, just because of his name. But he's certainly worth more than Nic Dowd, who had one point with the Kings this season before being traded. And they really see him as a stopgap for Horvat?

The BOG gives this a unanimous 5-1. The deal must be renegotiated.

Hey, watch who you are talking about here. It crazy that both are on our team now. SUBBAN on the stingrays and Dowd with us

Funny that both of these guys ended up somewhere in the Capitals system. Washington is the only true winner here smile

And, the winner of this trade is the team who got a guy that never played an NHL game. Whereas... we all know hindsight is 20/20 but...
