Not at that cap hit you wouldn't. Only way you would get more is if salary was retained. He's not been great this year.

ROR is doing better than you assume. Sabres arent cleaning house, they arent going to be low balled on one of their best players

Yeah, thats not enough.

Werenski is one of the best up and coming defensemen in the league. Who would ever trade an aging center on a long term deal at a crazy high cap hit for a 20 year old stud first line d-man on an elc. Get real.
