Ceci isn't really someone I'd trust on a regular basis... He has been playing well as of late but he is streaky and will eventually start playing poor again... I think he a deadline sell for sure


i think we only move him if we're getting a replacement RHD in the deal. Maybe we could try moving him in a deal for a top pairing LHD, cause he's got a lot of potential.

A.) Want to try our best to reach playoffs by trading away picks and prospects for players that will help offensively, defensively and help us make playoffs

B.) See how the team plays until the trade deadline and plan accordingly from there.

C.) Trade away the 1 and 2 year contracts on the team and try to rebuild the team to be competitive in 3-4 years, while also accumulating picks to refill our prospect pool


I think we should go for B but we could still do some pre-deadline planning in January.

Ceci's still young, he's got lots of potential. I think we keep him as our 2RD.

IMO Krug isn't a top pairing guy, so i say we say no to the deal. Even if he is, Chabot has a lot of potential, and Brown's got more value than Senyshyn IMO. I don't think we should do it.

i'd definitely take Vatrano over Nash, but we still aren't getting a team need here.

Technically fills both needs

Offer after that is

White + Chabot + Brown + Batherson

for

Krug + Carlo + Vatrano

which would complete our roster and maybe make us playoff worthy

I'd argue Batherson for a pick though if we were to go through with this

But if you do move plan on moving Brown, Boston would like to have a chance to counter an offer on Brown and pay more

I want to know your reasoning behind that... He produces points like a #2 (1st pair guy), and would give the team some offensive boost

I mean it was originally Pageau + Brown + Chabot but if you want a true #1 LHD, you have to pay the piper

he's almost a top pair guy IMO but not quite ... even if he is, that's too much for us to give up.

I just want to make sure we both understand something: If you want to take someone off of the untouchable list then we can discuss that possibility, but we came up with a list of guys we aren't trading, so just to make sure, i don't think either of us should go offering those guys in deals? Does that seem fair?

I didn't offer them in a deal, that was the offer presented to me on Twitter. And I know EK is untouchable I just like to hear what people value him at
