90% of Pens fans can't spell Hagelin correctly. Every trade post, says, "talent and speed"

No, it's SHARE-ee. He said it himself.

Nobody says CHAIR-uh. It's pronounced just like it's spelled.

One's I've heard people say wrong:
Eichel pronounced "ek'el"
Tkachuk pronounced "tuck-ah-chuck"
Borowiecki pronounced how it is spelled in English, it is a Polish origin, in Polish, a W is pronounced with a V sound
Panarin pronounced "pan-ah-rin", emphasis on the wrong syllable

not a player but I've heard Poile pronounced in a french manner more like Poilé

easy solution for figuring out how to pronounce non-North American players' names: go to Elite Prospects. Many players' pages have an attached sound file of a native speaker pronouncing the name correctly.

Actually, the 'ch' sound in Slovakian is more akin to the one in Scottish, as in "loch."

It looks German in origin, so shouldn't it be closer to "Bayzer"? North Americans and European names don't mix. Unless you're Mark Borowiecki apparently.

I've heard people pronounce Jonathan Drouin as "first line center" when that's clearly incorrect.

Beauchemin = "Bo-sha-MAN". French name

Sekera = "SEH-ke-ra" and Plekanec = "PLE-ka-nets". Czech/Slovak names always stress the first syllable. As for Plekanec, remember that c = "ts" in Czech.
