If COL retains a good chunk, deal.

Since Hagelin is going the other way, I don't think the avs would retain salary. is it worth keeping hagelin and soderberg for the pens? (assuming salary is retained on soderberg).

Who signed longer? Who has Murray and Guentzel contracts coming up that year?

true. Maybe the pens could throw in a prospect and then the avs would retain salary. or, they keep hagelin and ask them to retain salary without giving up a prospect.

Soderberg is not very good. He isn't worth a 2nd round pick nor is he worth Ian Cole. PENGUINS WOULD DECLINE!! Colorado would be all over that deal, because they are getting way over payed for Soderberg a guy who should really be getting payed a $1,500,000. You should rethink this deal. shakes head

soderberg for a few years had been a study corsi guy while averaging 48 points for 3 years. I think if he's paired with a solid like hornquist, he can rediscover some of his magic, while balancing out the pens lines.i do also believe he made team Sweden in 2014.
