Looks like Hoffman to Edmonton is mere speculation, He just said that Hoffman would look good in Edmonton. Nothing that the two teams are talking to one another.

Yeah I was trying to figure out a way to up the value maybe more picks or a higher end prospect

Well I'm basing off what I read today, Kypreos saying that the two teams have had conversations on Hoffman but I guess that trade is based if Ottawa stays in playoff race or drops to the basement
