Wouldn't want to include a 1st... potentially a collection of picks

not looking to sell him... so would likely would be a very expensive venture that would need a 1st + B+ LW prospect +

i'd likely want a 2nd in 19 (but that was traded to the islanders)... so a 4th doesn't really make up the value for me

That seems to be going a bit backwards... I'm going to hold off on a deal for a bit...

                        New York Rangers
                        Vincent Trocheck

                        Vancouver Canucks
                        Jaret Anderson-Dolan
                        Ryan Graves
                        2019 1st round pick (NYR)
                        2018 2nd round pick (NYR)
                        2018 3rd round pick (DET)

potentially. only hitch would be that I would want to move the STL 1st over NYR and I would want to send 1-2 more AHL contracts your way based on your space

Is there any interest in something around Stepan and Meier?

Less than 0... I'm not really looking to move Meier at all... my 3rd line looks to be my shutdown line and still be offensive

What were you looking for in a Rask trade? Would Danault be of interest? ($2.65M × 3 years is his new contract).

He was back after the slapper, then he hurt his neck, then he took a high stick. They are probably keeping him out until he is able to see a witch doctor and get that bullseye removed.

Straight up since Danault is on the shelf atm. Production and age are roughly equivalent. Danault has the better cap hit and defensive game. I'm hoping Rask is able to produce better one Carolina makes some changes. Either he gets traded or he gets better linemates and opportunity.

what about Danault and a conditional 3rd in 19, that I receive if he doesn't play a game this season, or in the 1st 20 next season for Rask

I won't guarantee him for this season, since IRL Montreal has no reason to rush him back and you don't need him this season either. If you want to insure he's good to go next season, we can do that, as long as it's head related. If his arm or leg falls off, that's not something predictable or related to his current condition. wink

Yeah we can say that if he doesn't partake in the 1st 5-10 games next season due to the head injury I get the 3rd in 2019
